Hi, I'm Beth!
My passion is helping expecting families navigate birth without unwanted intervention. Yes, even hospital births can be absolutely beautiful!
I didn’t always think this, as my first hospital birth in 2020 was chaotic, impersonal, and not at all what I thought it would be. But it was the catalyst for a fulfilling career in birthwork, ensuring unwelcome experiences don’t happen to other families.

I spent the next several years becoming a labor and delivery nurse and a certified nurse midwife, but I still didn’t feel I was able to guide families in the most personalized, impactful way I saw was needed. I left the hospital system to dedicate the next year to developing my self-paced, online birth course rooted in personal autonomy, mindset, and informed decision-making that is accessible to all my clients.
I began serving families as a birth doula in Waukesha County in 2023 and fell in love with birth all over again. Most doulas don’t go through 8 years of training, but it was the perfect path to find my passion for supporting pregnant moms and their families in this way!

This hasn’t happened yet, but I always have a plan in place if it does!
I only take two clients per month to best meet everyone’s needs, so it's unusual for scheduling conflicts to happen. Of course, babies have their own timeline, even with careful planning…
So, I work with a few backup doulas that have similar values and whom I trust very much to care for my clients!
In the event of a sudden illness, a family emergency, or if I'm attending another birth, you won't be left without doula support. You'll not only have my contact information but theirs as well. Rest assured, I'll ensure she's available to support you if I'm unable to attend.

Doula support is an investment in your birth experience and your beginning of parenthood. I went through extensive training as a labor and delivery nurse, certified nurse midwife, and childbirth educator to ensure I can support moms during the best day of their lives!
I would support you throughout your entire pregnancy, am a constant resource when questions come up, and meet with you 1:1 several times to curate the perfect plan and help you feel prepared, informed, and excited to have your baby!
Being on-call 24/7 also means that I will be ready to support you when you need me, no matter what is going on in my personal life, day or night, rain or shine, or during holiday events or family gatherings . You can guarantee a dedicated birth doula is supporting you!
I totally understand the financial hesitation many have, but encourage you to reach out to possibly work something out if you feel like we could be a good fit!
I would love to do this work for free, right?! But… just like every other business, a large percentage goes straight to business expenses, and in this work, the cost of on-call childcare to attend your birth and prenatal visits.
It’s easy to spend thousands on weddings and vacations, but I believe doula support is just as worthy of an investment. I am so passionate about what I do and would love to schedule a time to chat with you to learn more about what you’re looking for!
